IN A STORMING FINISH to the Vectis 2011 Military, Civilian Figures, Equipment and Accessories sale season it was yet again the plastics sections which led the way, achieving some stunning prices. A Trojan “Half Moon” display card made £1100, 2 x uncatalogued Trojan half sets £2600 and £2500 apiece, a scarce issue boxed Windmill by FG Taylor made an amazing £600 and an early Timpo U.S. Marines display set £740.

Following closely on the heels of the plastics were two superb civilian sections, highlights included, a staggering £6200 paid for a (possibly) unique boxed Phillip Segal set of Cricketers, £1100 for a rare version TandB Jazz Band, £3500 for a unique Nestle’s World Cow Farm set, £1300 for TandB Visitors at Tea set, £1400 for a Britains Set 137F – Tractor and Clockwork Trailer and £950 for a Britains M/C Combination.
