THE THIRTY-FOURTH ANNUAL Miami Antique Toy, Doll and Collectibles Show will take place on Sunday, February 9th, 2014 at the Holiday Inn Miami Intercontinental Airport, at 1111 South Royal Poinciana Blvd, Miami Florida (at the intersection of LeJeune Road and the SR 112 Expressway).
The event remains the only classic and completely ‘antique’ toy show in the southeastern US. Dealers from around the country and the globe will be offering for sale thousands of wonderful old toys and dolls and collectibles – that you can actually touch; never mind that internet auction stuff – to hundreds of toy collectors and buyers from all over Florida, the US, South America, and Europe.
The astoundingly great selection of antique toys, dolls and collectibles will include plenty of pre-war wind-up tin toys from Marx and Unique Art and Chein, all sharing the exhibit hall with post-war die-cast and plastic toys from Dinky and Corgi and Revell. Lunch boxes, lead soldiers, cereal premiums, cast iron banks, Barbie dolls, Star Wars figures – all present and accounted for: from 1889 to 1989 (the official 25-year “antique cutoff date”) nearly every type of toy will be represented.
