ONE OF THE SPECIAL rewards of writing articles for Antique Toy World magazine is the occasional Collector who sends me pictures of his prized toys. I learn something new every time, and often get to view toys I never knew existed. It’s a good life.
I’ve received just such a letter all the way from Australia. A Collector there has some very rare Japanese tinplate toy cars, all from the mid-’30s, none of which I believe were ever available here in the States. These are his pictures.
