VINELAND, N.J. – Bertoia’s Mechanical Banks & Cast Iron Toys Auction on Friday, September 25 will feature over 100 outstanding mechanical banks from the collection of the late Dr. Robert E. Booth, Jr., renowned for assembling one of America’s finest private collections of Americana and folk art.

Dr. Booth’s extraordinary home – featured in the pages of Architectural Digest and Antiques magazine – reflects a lifetime of collecting at the highest level. While Dr. Booth assembled numerous categories, just his mechanical banks will be offered in the September sale. More than 100 rare, highly collectible examples will come up for bid, from all the top makers.
