KANSAS TOY was in the habit of numbering their slush cast toy vehicles and including that number on the left side of the toy. This 3 3/4-inch tractor is numbered 17. A number 17 tractor was found in Kansas Toy reference material, and it was identified as being a Fordson. The featured tractor does have “FORDSON” embossed at the top of the grille shell, but both the “F” and “N” are weak. However, the tractor in the reference material reportedly has a front crank, a different grille pattern, no rear hitch pin or receptacle, and different design wheels with larger diameter rears.
