Focal Point: Torpedo Boat • ITO (Japan) – 1950s

DESPITE USING various sources, another example of this 32.5″ twin screw torpedo boat was not located. A search did turn up several examples of wooden torpedo boats issued by ITO. But none were actual examples of the featured boat.

However, many features included on the located ITO examples were identical to those on the pictured boat in design or color(s) or both. Because most of those torpedo boats were identified as being produced by ITO, the pictured boat must also be an ITO issue.
