Focal Point: W Service Wrecker • Wyandotte – c. 1947

UPON FIRST SIGHTING the pictured 13.5-inch Wyandotte “W SERVICE” tow truck, something seemed a bit unusual. The truck was definitely 100% original eliminating the likelihood of post production changes. Maybe it was the solid red color, the steel wheels or something else. And, there was no recollection of this truck being in the frequently used and reliable reference source for Wyandotte toys. Nevertheless, the seller accepted a reasonable offer and ownership changed.
