The Headless Horseman Rides Again
By Kevin McGuire
The Teddy Galloping Giant Jockey no. 506, first marketed in 1927 by the Ted-Toylers Manufacturing Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was a great success. An imposing, nearly 13.5″ tall and nearly twice the size of its little brother, it features a colorful “Klown” (as advertised) rider with cap, beaded arms and legs and dappled rocking horse.
