A wide range of small-scale attractive models, cars and trucks called the Minics were manufactured in England by the Line Brothers firm, using the trademark TRI-ANG.
Cars, lorries, buses appeared in the pre-war years. All the early models are clockwork powered. They are all fitted with « rounded type » tin wings for the first series before 1936. The wheels are made in tin-plate with white or black tyres. As shown below, the saloon pre-war sport second series are in my opinion the best MINIC tin cars. Standard metal radiator, sloping back, white tyres and a lot of colors in the trade catalogues. They can sometimes have a luggage rack, a spare wheel or a Shell petrol can, all made of painted metal sheet.
