DENVER, PA. – Morphy’s big Toys & General Collectibles auction slated for Tuesday through Thursday, November 10-12, will be held at Morphy’s Denver, Pennsylvania gallery starting at 9am ET on all three days. All forms of remote bidding will be available, including live online through Morphy Live.
The sale will showcase several premier collections. The first is a 40-year collection consisting of more than 400 lots of trains. The emphasis is on Lionel, but trains by many other popular makers are also included.
The second is a 70-year collection of baseball cards. Many were purchased when the owner – who is now 88 years old – was in his teens. The emphasis is on Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The owner had many of the cards graded years ago. This is the first time most of these cards will have been offered on the open market.
