One Toy for a Desert Island By Pasky

BMW factories in Germany launched in 1940 a brand new motorcycle capable of reaching a speed of 140 km per hour. This motorcycle serve as a model for Ar- nold Toy manufacture of his MAC 700. The toy in- cludes three parts, the motorcycle, the driver named MAC and an ingenious mechanical device that moves the motorcycle and his rider.

Only Two versions have been included in the german toy maker Arnoldd (founded in Nuremberg in 1906) that only differ in color: a black and a red rarest issue. The toy is approximately made at a 1/10 scale. For technical reasons the motorcycle cylinders are not reproduced in relief. The toymaker logo is place on the upper part of the front fender and the Mac 700 brand is lithographed on both sides on the tank.
