ICTURED IS AN original factory photograph of a Smith-Miller model number 415 Jr. Fire Truck also called a “Smith-Miller Junior” or simply a “Junior” in this narrative. The photograph was extracted from Smith-Miller company files in 1981. Also pictured is the front of a two-sided full-color Smith-Miller flyer probably printed in 1955 in prepa-ration for marketing in 1956. In addition to identify-ing the truck, the description appearing in small print reads as follows:

When battery is installed, red warning light flashes on and off as wheels turn! Length 15″. Weight 2 ½ pounds. Individually packed. $8.95.
