THERE ARE ESSENTIALLY two attitudes concerning collector demand for an original box. Such a box depending upon condition can usually add a considerable amount to the price of a toy (but extremely seldom double as occasionally observed). Some collectors don’t want the box because they have little room to store or display it. Others don’t think the added premium for the box is justified. Many collectors may prefer having an original box, while some will not consider purchasing a toy unless accompanied by an original box.
