In the 1920’s Birchcraft Toys and Novelties of Waukesha, WI was producing wooden promotional vehicles made of 1/4″ plywood. The bodies were essentially cut-outs or silhouettes with paper design details applied on both sides using varied colors/shades. The make of the vehicle and/or a dealership identification typically appeared in small lettering on each side. Most of their two axle vehicles were about 6″ long and rode on wooden wheels.
