Focal Point: Sedan w/ Canoe & Boat on Trailer – Thomas – C. 1953

Thomas Manufacturing introduced their 1949 Ford four door sedan in 1950. It was their model number 77S and was called their “Streamlined Sedan.”.The company also issued police and taxi cab versions plus a convertible of the same 3.9-inch car, all molded in polystyrene plastic. A few years thereafter Thomas issued a bagged and carded set called a “Weekend Cruise” that consisted of their 1950 Ford convertible and a 4.6-inch cabin cruiser with a boat trailer made of polyethylene and having plastic wheels.
