WHEN MARX DEVELOPED a new design, the company tended to get the most use of it generally over many years. The pickup included in this Lazy Day Farms pairing is but one example. This grill and body design was used for trucks of various sizes with the pictured example being among the largest scale. Marx often designed toy vehicles that mimic the design of a full-sized vehicle without crediting the make of the full-sized counterpart. There are exceptions which include some pressed steel trucks with “DODGE” above the grill, but those tend to require some imagination to see any resemblance.
