Texaco Clean Restrooms Promotion By John Rastall

Texaco was the first to provide clean restrooms in 1938, in doing so they came up with “something a lady appreciates” advertising campaign. Part of the campaign incorporated a little girl and a Pedal Car. The ads were quite popular. They came in many different varieties showing the little girl going to and coming from the restroom. The pedal Car shown appears to be an artist illustration as I have never seen an original.

As you can see there were many different ads featuring the Pedal Car, however, please not ethe original photo of what appears to be a poster with two ladies on each side. I have searched and researched and cannot find any more about it! If anyone has any information on this, please let me know.
