The Chicago Toy Show Celebrates Its Golden Anniversary
FROM 1973 to 2023, our Chicago Toy Show has continued to thrive and enthuse collectors from all over the United States, Europe, Japan, and Mexico. A span lasting five-decades inevitably brings changes. Old dirt and gravel parking areas became paved. Sheds with tin roofs made way for more permanent, massive structures with huge exhibit halls. Childhood toys from one era were replaced by the next generation’s treasures repeatedly through the 50 years.
